Get Answers. Get a Plan. Get Your Child the Support They Deserve.

Comprehensive private OT evaluations for children birth through 18 — conducted where your child actually lives, learns, and grows.

Your Family Is Part of the Evaluation

Your child doesn't exist in isolation — and neither does this evaluation.

A dedicated family interview is woven into every assessment. We take time to understand your child through your eyes: how they communicate, how you support them, what your day-to-day looks like, and what you most need answers about.

This matters clinically. The most effective support happens when everyone on a child's team — parents, therapists, teachers — is working from the same understanding. We help make sure that foundation is solid.

What You Receive

At the end of the evaluation process, you receive a comprehensive written report that includes:

  • A full summary of evaluation findings

  • Clinical interpretation — what the results actually mean for your child

  • Specific, actionable recommendations for therapy, school supports, or both

  • Documentation you can use to request or support an IEP, 504 plan, or additional services

This report is yours. Share it with anyone on your child's team.

The Problem With Most Evaluations

Most OT evaluations happen in a single session, in an unfamiliar room, with an unfamiliar adult.

That tells you something. But it doesn't tell you everything.

A child who holds it together in a quiet one-on-one setting may completely fall apart in a noisy classroom. A child who seems fine at a desk may struggle the moment they're expected to play with peers. A single snapshot in a clinical setting can miss the very things that are making life hard for your child every day.

That's why we do things differently.

Our Approach to Evaluation

At Sensory Street, we assess your child across the real-life settings that matter most — because that's where the full picture lives.

Rather than pulling your child out of their world to test them in ours, we come to them. Dr. Bea conducts evaluations in the natural environments where your child actually functions, so we can see not just what they're capable of in isolation — but how they navigate the real demands of their everyday life.

The result: a more accurate, more complete, and more actionable evaluation than a traditional clinic-based assessment can provide.

We come to you. No office visit required. Currently serving families throughout NYC and surrounding areas.

What We Assess

Every evaluation covers the areas most relevant to your child's age, concerns, and daily life, which may include:

  • Cognitive abilities — attention, direction following, processing

  • Fine and gross motor coordination

  • Strength and endurance

  • Handwriting and grapho-motor skills

  • Sensory processing

  • Visual-motor integration

  • Self-help skills — dressing, grooming, feeding

  • Motor planning and organization

  • Social participation and peer interaction

We use gold-standard, normed assessment tools so your report carries weight — with schools, pediatricians, specialists, and the DOE.

Book a Consultation

The first step is a free 15-minute call. No commitment, no pressure — just a conversation about your child and whether this evaluation is the right next step.

Who This Is For

A Sensory Street evaluation may be the right next step if your child:

  • Has been flagged by a teacher, pediatrician, or specialist but hasn't been formally evaluated

  • Has received a school-based evaluation but you want an independent second opinion

  • Struggles with handwriting, attention, sensory regulation, self-care, or social participation

  • Has a diagnosis of ADHD, autism, sensory processing disorder, or a developmental delay

  • Needs documentation to request or strengthen an IEP or 504 plan

  • Was denied services by the DOE and you need an independent evaluation to advocate for what they're entitled to

We evaluate children birth through age 18.
